Lyndsay Morrison Returns - Maybe Now CTV Will Have Enough Wx. People
After what seems like an eternity, CTV Toronto weather person Lindsay Morrison is back from mat leave, finally giving the station two (count them, two!) actual weather presenters. At least I'm assuming Jessica Smith is still there.
Perhaps now we can expect proper weather on the weekend, 7 days a week.
Morrison did a radio forecast on CFRB Monday and I expect it's the first of many as she returns to a normal shift.

I heard her weather report on 1010 today and it was most welcome.
Lyndsay's delivery is polished and natural with breezy (no pun intended) pacing. She has an easy-on-the-ears musical cadence and relaxed, clear diction that should hopefully inspire others who report the weather to brush up on their sometimes slapdash and uneven on-air performance.

After I read the above comment I checked out a couple of Noor's reports on YouTube. Wow. The wording of one of her Global News weather reports is almost worthy of inclusion in a Bulwer-Lytton creative fiction writing contest.
Thanks Dial Twister, I knew there was a damn good reason I stopped watching regular tv over a decade ago.😌
