That's because he's long since retired and is living in Ladysmith, B.C. after something of a wild media career, that included working at CFRB, CFTR, interviewing tons of big time politicians, covering the fall of the Berlin Wall in person and even helping David Onley get his start in broadcasting.

Heard him on 680 Monday for the first time in a while. They pull him out whenever something significant happens politically, and they don't get much bigger than a Prime Minister's resignation. Interesting that he still keeps his hand in things, despite being retired and so far out west.
