Recent articles about the NBA's ratings ahead of this week's Christmas Day games, points to some systemic problems with the game itself.
Sports news sites, endless 3-pointers, the game slowing down in the last few minutes and also, a number of teams that are sub 500 doesn't help either, Cable TV rights and Magic Johnson, sites that the players don't "hate" each other...the rivalry isn't there.
Stephen A. Smith kind of goes postal on this topic of there is no "hate on"/

I also find basketball in general difficult to watch on TV. It seems like if you watch the final minute, you have seen the entire game. Although that could be said for any stick and ball game I suppose.

I am finding the Raptors hard to watch, and have since about a year ago. On Dec. 26 they lost to Memphis 126-155, a franchise record. Last night I bailed before the game finished, they have lost 10 games in a row, think I need a new hobby.
