Ha! I heard that song for the first time in a long time just before Christmas, one that doesn’t get much airplay on the oldies stations but fairly unique, and an entertaining time capsule!

I interviewed Richard Perry back in 1982 for a Canadian syndicated radio series on record producers. He was such a great interview with great stories about recoring Ringo, Nilsson, The Pointer Sisters, Barbra Streisand and Burton Cummings.
If you ever see the movie, "American Hot Wax", Richard plays a producer in a recording studio doing a doo wop song that Alan Freed visits.

Once you realize it's Jagger doing backup vocals, you can't miss it. He is almost the co-singer, and unmistakable. I guess the song wasn't about him, after all.
