I had a big satellite dish back in those days and even I don't remember this. But since it only lasted 36 days(!!) maybe there's no reason I should.

Pretty classy farewell, though. Nice montage of the staff (many behind the scenes) interspersed with Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." video.
Those types of goodbyes are much rarer nowadays in TV and radio. (Hello, CHML?)

I worked in music television and had no idea that CMC ever existed. Thanks for posting RA.

Same, never heard of CMC, and the cuts of the channel shown looks like they were not offering anything new or unique from MTV. I found the cheery staff all waving good bye interesting. It's not like after 36 days whatever audience CMC had would have any attachment to the channel. VJ's were never on camera, just voice overs for the videos, so the viewer wouldn't have any like or dislike for any of them. Probably some of the staff shown were still learning the equipment.
