    Sudbury, Ottawa broadcaster Bob Derro ("Brother Bob") has passed

    He was 66; celebration of life taking place this afternoon in Bells Corners. Obit image shared by Dylan Black of Boom 99.7.

    My wife, a life long Sudbury raised girl, remembers Bob on radio here. She also knew his brother who has passed also. RIP.

    One of his co-workers at CHRO would have been a fellow Sudbury area native, chief engineer Michael St. Amand (VE3ODJ). Derro's work at 'RO included duties as the station's imaging voice... here he is on a station sign-off from 1992.
