OK, I admit CFTR is not always the first station I listen to on the radio. Its format is made to be tuned in and out. And I do the more of the latter than the former. 

When I tuned it in Monday, they were doing their usual holiday "cottage country traffic" segments. Except each one of them started with the sounds of clucking chickens. What, exactly, does that signify? That if you're going up north, it's the only place you can expect to find poultry? That facing the traffic is not for the faint of heart? Or you should stop at Col. Sanders as you're on your way back? 

Just like the weird music they play in the extreme background during sports voicers, it really doesn't make much sense. 

Have they been doing this a long time or is this relatively recent?
