AM740’s Bob Komsic Hangs Up His Headphones
AM740’s newscaster Bob Komsic did his final newscast yesterday, August 30th at 6pm. I will miss his calm delivery and his sense of humour, possibly my favourite newscaster in Toronto, and while we’re at it, I still think AM740 has a decent newscast, better than most in this market. Enjoy your retirement Mr. Komsic, you’ll be missed!

I agree. Both 740 and classical 96.3 have intelligent well presented newcasts. They also actually have a radio news department unlike 1010.

Loved my years with Bob at CFRB. I was happy to see him land at 740. Enjoy your retirement, Bob.

Don't know Bob personally but always enjoyed his "easy-breezy" style.
