CKLW & CBC Broadcaster Marty Adler Has Passed
He worked for the Big 8 and the CBC in Windsor, but was also known for being the track announcer at Windsor Raceway. He'd been suffering from cancer. He was 81.

that's too bad. he just got the amhurstberg radio station a couple of years ago.

Adler also worked for a while at CKNX radio.
After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.

His son has some touching memories of him in the Windsor Star.
One revelation that's really stunning is that he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2018 and given 6 months to live. He obviously defied those odds. Not only that, he was completely blind due to glaucoma and still managed to apply for and run his own radio station.
A pretty incredible man.
