SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY (LOUD)

Met for coffee this morning w. a few "car" people where the topic of the day was NOT cars (for a change) but rather 1050 CHUM in the summer of '69.     I couldn't participate, having left Ontario for Vancouver in the spring of 1968 (where my "CHUM" was LG73 and the drag strip was in Mission, BC

Specifically, who mouthed CHUM's "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday" drag racing promotions . . . the consensus was that it was Jack Armstrong for Niagara Raceway and (perhaps) Tom Rivers for Cayuga Raceway (and/or possibly also for Windsor/Detroit drag strips)

Input?

Re: SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY (LOUD)

Hi Geo ... Jack Armstrong voiced the Niagara Raceway spots. Tom Rivers didn't arrive at CHUM until January 1970, inbound from WKNR where he was known as Tom Near.
