Sean Ross, one of the best radio columnists in North America, laments the continuing loss of so-called "Heritage Radio Stations," including WCBS and CHML. Not to mention CKLW.

"My most-influential Top 40, Detroit/Windsor’s CKLW, was revived twice with FM oldies; now, it’s the inspiration for CKWW-AM’s Oldies format. At this writing, I’m now waiting to see what new owners do with that station."

Hopefully he'll be happy with that outcome, at least.
