More Cuts Coming At Global News
Most are said to be in B.C. but there could be others in Eastern Canada as well.
It's been a bad week (year?) to work for Corus. Or rather, for too many, not to work.

By this time next year, Troy Reeb will be anchoring the BC newscast and Global National, because there won't be anyone left.

Well, that didn't take long. Broadcast Dialogue reports that Goomansingh is already employed again - joining the CBC as its Senior Reporter in London, England. You'll start seeing her on air in the Fall.
And she won't have to go far to fill the bill - she was previously Global's European Bureau Chief.

CBC has been great at scooping up former Global and CTV personalities that got laid off. Richard Madden is another.

GlobalNational.com has not worked for me now for over a week. Foreshadowing? I use google now to get to Global National's page.
The website address got changed to globalnews.ca/globalnational a while ago.
Not just that. If you literally type GlobalNational.com into the Google search engine and click on the "I'm feeling lucky" feature, it will STILL take you to the updated site.
The old bookmark may be dead, but everything else has been updated.
