Vacation Merry-Go-Round Continues With Alex Pierson Getting 2 Wks. Off
It starts next week, when the AM640 mid-morning host departs for what she terms an 'Internet-deprived' area of North Carolina to visit her sister. And yes, she's taking her new puppy with her.
In her place during Week One is National Post columnist Adam Zivo, who subbed for her for a few days earlier this month. He did OK, but he doesn't seem able to pivot for breaking news.
Week Two is super-sub Ben Mulroney, who just finished a 10-day stretch subbing for John Oakley, while also hosting his own weekend morning show.
You gotta love summer, when vocations go on vacations.

They should actually consider replacing her with Ben, I find him more cordial and open-minded, quite frankly.
