This is a post for anyone who ever listened to or worked in radio in Montreal. A new book purports to cover the classic days of AM Top 40 Radio in that city. Among the stations highlighted are CFOX, CKGM, CFCF, CJAD and more. 

The tome, called "Rock ‘n’ Radio: When DJs and Rock Music Ruled the Airwaves" goes on sale this month and promises lots of stories from the jocks who were there. Some of them wound up working in Toronto during their careers. 

Still waiting for someone to write the definitive history of the format in T.O. (beyond "The CHUM Story," which was great but only really dealt with one station.)
