Even the media coverage of the purchase of the new New York home and official base of Tom Clark the current consul general and former CTV and Global broadcaster and journalist is very different.
Here's the staid Canadian report from the CBC.
Here's the jazzy U.S. story from the New York Post framed from the King Charles angle so they can get the maximum number of views possible.
If it's a slow news week coming up will there be a bit of a political kerfuffle over the irresistible "Billionaires' Row" tag and will some media outlet try to make a big deal about the pricey purchase possibly with a request for an interview with Tom Clark to see what he has to say about his new home?

Well, I guess there is clickbait and there is accuracy. The jazzy US story is incorrect. King Charles did not buy the condo in NYC. And the royal noggin will never lay on the pillow in any of the bedrooms, since he will never be there.

Well this is the NY Post for crying out loud.
