Shelley Duvall Dies At 75
She shone in The Shining and watched her career go "south" in Nashville. Those are just two of the films Shelley Duvall will be remembered for. She passed at 75.

She reminded me of many European actresses who can play any part, but not fitting into one category and never to become a "superstar."
One a sort of tangent, I once met the woman who was the cartoon voice of Olive Oyl,and Betty Boop, Mae Questel.
She was also Aunt Bluebell in the Scott towel ads.
The way I met her was funny.
She was in a travel agency in Vancouver and I heard her speaking and knew I hard that voice somewhere before.
Without me asking she said to me, "I bet you are wondering who I am."
I said yes and she then went on to tell me all about being Olive Oyl etc.
She was very nice and a little eccentric.

I once tried to get an interview with Mae Questel. She refused to do it, saying she no longer talked to the press. Too bad. I suspect she probably had a lot of amazing stories to tell.
