Family Feud Gets Its Own Retrospective Special

It's not a regular episode of the game show - it's highlights from some of the stupidest answers ever given on the program and the reaction they caused.

The special, which airs July 9th on ABC, features all the hosts from the first - Richard Dawson - to the current, Steve Harvey and replays some of the oddest and weirdest moments from the decades-long game show. I was never a huge fan of it, but I do have to say it was very well constructed and there's one moment that's certain to be featured in the montage.

It happened when Dawson was still asking the "survey says" questions and involves an answer so outrageous and ridiculous, he can't continue with the bonus round. At one point you can hear either the director or the floor manager scream at him "Pull yourself together!" as what's supposed to be about 120 secs. stretches into nearly ten minutes of non-stop hilarity.

It's called "September" and you can watch the full thing below. It's almost impossible not to laugh.

Really looking forward to seeing this F.F. video.

I wouldn't mind a fairly loyal recreation of the Hollywood Squares game with Martin Short and Steve Martin sitting together in the Charles Nelson Reilly square.

The world might also enjoy an old-fashioned game show that revolves around wordplay, call it "If You Build It They Will Pun."
