They won't..but they should.  Especially since they are a Toronto station.  BOOM is good and not only because of the music.  They are mostly live and have personalities that actually talk more than three times per hour. To me their music is ok but getting too repetitive.  Starship- Nothing's Going To Stop Us Now should be put to bed for a few weeks. Even the number one or two station should be subject to scrutiny, especially from the listener.  Always room to improve..and let it start with Thundermug this weekend!!

They most certainly do legitimate audience research, which, surprisingly, does not involve message-board grumps who don't live in the market and aren't in the target demo anyway.

I can 100% assure you, that Thundermug will not make it on the air. Also, there will be live "personalities" taking calls.

I listened to much of Vintage Favourites Canada Day edition yesterday.  Well done, and held my interest.  Particularly enjoyed the segment on the "Toronto Sound" and Red Skelton's 1989 Salute to Canada.

BOOMS 157 Canada Day Marathon today sounds great.  Lots of cuts from artists talking about their songs and other performers.  Nice little salute to SCTV with some memorable segments from that classic program.
