I know this isn't local, but I've always been a big fan of Marv Albert ever since he did the N.Y. Rangers games on WNBC-AM back in the early 70s. His story is unique - his two other brothers also wound in the big league sportscasting business.
All three siblings are pretty much out of the broadcasting industry now, but that doesn't mean they're not still players. As long as that "playing" includes ping pong and a local bar. A fun story about an amazing on-air family dynasty.
Where are they now? Marv Albert, Steve Albert and Al Albert

It should be noted that Al & Steve's cousin, Kenny, is the lead PBP voice for the NHL on TNT(as well as the primary PBP radio voice of the NY Rangers)...and MLB on Fox lead PBP...PLUS PBP for the NFL on Fox.

Did anyone else find that website messed up? First it froze when I got to it, then it kept refreshing to the top of the page after a minute or two, freezing and then once I was able to scroll down, it all started again. I never finished the article. I'll pick up on it using my phone and see if I can read it.

The story is not behind a paywall, so it's odd you're having that trouble. Here's the archived version that someone else saved. Perhaps that will work better. Give it a shot.
