Indie 88's New Owner Buys Bolton Radio Station
The company, called Local Radio Labs, has expanded again, this time buying CJFB-FM from Vista. In addition to their relatively newly acquired Indie 88.1 (which they bought in 2023), they now have small outlets in Milton, Orangeville and South Simcoe.
That gives them five stations mostly in and around Southern Ontario, and you have to wonder if they have plans to buy even more.

And ironically CFJB Barrie is owned by Indie's still current company.

I can honestly say I didn't even notice that, but that's what I get for posting at 6:46 in the morning! It's been fixed, better late than never. I actually appreciate you guys pointing it out, I just wish it had been earlier!
