Old Favourites And Some Fresh Shows On Global This Fall
Global has all of it's favourite prime time acquired US shows for fall 2024 and a few new entries. Family Law returns for season 3, but Big Brother Canada will not be returning this season on Global.

Interesting that Global is bragging that they have Canada’s #1 morning news program with “Global News Morning”. I’m guessing most of those viewers are in the west.
Wonder how GNM Toronto does against BT, CP24, and the national shows.

In that entire list, I see no mention of either "Departure" or "Nurses." So I'm guessing both may be gone for good.

Also, Big Brother Canada usually starts in the mid seasons (late Feb/early March).

It might come up the middle since CTV splits between Morning Live and Your Morning depending on the market.

I don't know about Departure for a fourth season, but Nurses hasn't been on for two years. I read that Peacock streams the first two seasons of Departure and only Global is streaming all three. Corus hasn't officially cancelled Big Brother Canada and indicated it could return next year. This isn't the first time the show has missed a season.

Global does have a new original drama coming next season with Murder In A Small Town which will debut this fall Wednesday evening at 10pm. FOX in the US has bought the show and will be running in the fall as well. This is interesting since FOX has been light on scripted one hour dramas.
