Is Carl Lam No Longer Doing City TV Weekend Weather?

Meteorologist Carl Lam quit working for WGRZ-TV in Buffalo a while ago, but apparently he's never been so busy. I know he sometimes does live weather updates for 680 CityNews Radio on Saturdays and Sundays and was also doing the occasional off camera weekend forecast for CityNews on City TV.

But now he's got yet another new job. Alan Pergament reports in the Buffalo News that Lam is now the weekend weatherman for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Does this mean we've heard the last of him on Toronto airwaves? If so, that's too bad. As an actual meteorologist, I find he not only has the most up-to-date forecasts, but I loved the fact he would do his radio and TV updates live, so he could predict that rain we're expecting was coming in 15 minutes.

If he's gone from this market, I will miss his contributions. Pittsburgh's gain is our loss.

Pretty sure he was on City tv last weekend, audio only.  Didn't sound live though.  His X account is still showing  City Toronto and Vancouver as where he works along with KDKA. https://x.com/carlhlam?lang=en

Carl Lam is a voice track that may as well have been audio from 680 news.
Talk about doing things on the cheap!!
