As noted, there was no Roy Green Show today on 640 -- but something weird was going on besides.
I was doing some errands in the car and heard what I later learned was a replay of the show, A little more conversation, with Ben Ohara Burn.
He was doing an actually very good interview with Randy Bachman, so I listened to that until I got to the bank where I needed to do some ATM stuff.
Anyway I got back into the car, and the Bachman interview was going on still, so I began listening again.
Except a few minutes later I realized I was listening to the same interview segment I had heard before I got to the bank.
Then after a commercial break, the same damn segment started playing again.
It seemed they were playing it on repeat, and rerunning after every commercial break.
So no Roy Green, and I hope he's OK since he's battling cancer -- but a completely botched presentation in Roy's place.
Are there no operators or anyone to notice the mistake, or do they just put the computer on automatic and go out to the bar or something?
