A First For The NFL On TV - Commercial Free 4th Quarters

Unfortunately, it appears we won't get to enjoy this spot free bonus. The game in question may be of interest to fans here - it's the Bills vs. the Chargers - but it will only be on the Peacock streaming service next year, which is available only in the U.S.

Owner NBC promises more content and fewer reasons to raid the fridge as part of their online-only coverage, but there's no word if the network will eventually follow the same rules when other games air on regular broadcast TV.

Peacock will air first ever commercial-free NFL 4th quarter for exclusive game

Hopefully this helps Peacock.  They lost $639 million in the first quarter of 2024. But this is less than a year ago. From yahoo! finance...https://finance.yahoo.com/news/good-news-peacock-lost-almost-142822727.html

I think last season when somebody carried a game behind a paywall, the NFL said they had to broadcast the games OTA in the local market for each team.

Since CTV/TSN have the NFL rights up here, are they not going to have the game? What happened last year when NBC/Peacock - or whoever it was, I can't remember - did this?
