I have to say I was a bit surprised to hear a lengthy interview with embattled CBC President Catharine Tait on one of the network's own shows. She appeared on "The House" Saturday morning and to her great credit, host Catharine Cullen did not hold back with some of her questions.
Among the topics Tait was forced to address: those controversial bonuses to management at a time of cutbacks, the future of the network and possible defunding if there's a change of government and how the CBC can no longer be "all things to all people" - and what that might mean for future programming.
It was quite an absorbing interview and you can either read the story or better yet, hear the interview here.

So, Tait was "grilled" during the interview?
Saw the pictures, but geez she looks more like death warmed over.
