I noticed on Saturday morning that 1010 replayed "The Best of John Moore" from 7-9 AM, the slot where the live simulcast of CP24 is usually heard. On Sunday, that same time period was occupied by the "Best of The Rush."
For years, the station has taken the audio of the all news cable channel to fill that two hour weekend slot, and since they're both owned by Bell and costs the station nothing, why the switch? I was never fond of TV audio over the radio, but at least it's live and gives current information, which a reroll of last week's morning and afternoon shows don't.
I have to wonder: is this permanent and if so, what led to the change?

Strictly a guess that maybe they were having some sudden troubles with the audio delivery of CP 24 and didn't want dead air.

1010 has done this in the past and it kind of bugs me, this past winter it happened a couple of times and I think I commented on it here. Pick a schedule and stick with it. Better yet, bring back Dave Trafford!
