Just as sure as the arrival of Spring, and The Masters Tournament, the yearly NAB Convention kicked off in Las Vegas yesterday. The equipment trade show itself runs for four days and you probably won't get thru to see all vendors / exhinits.

I'm wondering if there is anything that you may have your eyes on?  Emerging technology? Refinements or major updates to software that we are perhaps using in our day to day careers in broadcasting or digital media? 

The SMPTE 2110 standard is starting to gain some traction among broadcasters especially those who are planning major revamping or upgrades to new or existing plant infrastructure. There are a couple of OB Truck rental providers who have plans for new builds in their fleets.
