There are a ton of podcasts out there on every subject imaginable. And at least one of them is about radio itself. It's called "Talking About Radio" and there are over 100 episodes, featuring interviews with some famous names from the industry, nearly all of them from the U.S. where the show is based.
But you'll recognize some of them - John Landecker, Cousin Brucie, even Ken R., the PAMS jingle expert.
But on the latest edition, they're doing something special - a replay of the final 90 minutes of WNBC-AM New York before it became The Fan. It traces the complete history of the National Broadcasting Company's radio past, from the 1920s to that day when it got out of radio for good. It's free. has no commercials, runs 90 minutes and hasn't been heard in 36 years. A wonderful compendium if you've never heard it. It can be found here.
