50's Hitmaker Clarence "Frogman" Henry Dies In New Orleans
He wasn't exactly a superstar like the Everly Brothers or other huge hitmakers of the time, but Clarence "Frogman" Henry was a unique talent. Among the songs that hit the chart during his star days: "You Always Hurt The One You Love" and "I Don't Know Why I Love You, But I Do."
But his biggest hit is probably the one that earned him the famous nickname. On "Ain't Got No Home," he imitated the voice of a frog singing one verse, leading to a moniker that would follow him the rest of his life. The song was featured in several movies, including "Forrest Gump."
Clarence Henry was 87.

His song was a nice try, but it turned out it didn't have legs...
You would not have wanted to be a fly on the wall when he came up with the frog idea.
