Miss My Weekend Radio

Just enjoying my Sunday morning coffee and wishing there was something decent to listen to.
I miss listening to Dave Trafford, was very engaging! Any suggestions?

CKTB in St. Catharines is one of the few I know still doing live programming on Sunday morning (and for a few hours on Saturday.) You could try them.

Of course, once the new owner takes over, there's no guarantee that will continue.

What, you don't listen to Sunday morning trivia?
That Jason is soooo cerebral.... wish he'd dumb things down a bit.  Oh wait....

I'll give Agnew credit.  He does seem to work hard at making the game interesting, and is enthusiastic at his job.  The problem is the contestants, who are usually dumber than a bag of rocks, and know nothing about even some of the easiest questions, all for a 5 dollar Tim's gift card or something.  That alone makes it a frustrating and un-listenable show.

Still on from 7-10AM. Ben Mulroney was off again this weekend but should be back.

Thanks newsguy1, I do listen to Sunday Morning Trivia, even won the Riddle prize once and it was a good one! I was trying to find something to listen to earlier than 9am on Sundays and it looks like slim pickings!

Re: Miss My Weekend Radio

I did 15 years of weekend mornings on CFRB from 1995 to 2010 and enjoyed every moment of it.  I still miss doing the interviews.  Musicians, authors and many more.  BTW the audience was terrific.
