Rachel Maddow just spent 25 minutes linking historical references of fascism in America with the modern day takeover of the Republican Party.
And from that, she ripped a strip off of NBC News corporate management, and called for the termination of its new contract with former RNC Chair, Ronna McDaniel.
This whole fiasco is madness, but Maddow's challenge to the corporate suite, from in front of a camera which they own, is incrediblely notable. The same applies to Chuck Todd's reaction earlier.
If you missed Maddow at 9:00 p.m. this evening, set your DVR for MSNBC at midnight tonight.
Fascinating television that simply reflects the state of America back on itself.

Maddow is an absolute alarmist, resorting to "premature rejection", of anything right of center. Maybe, if things don't work out for her on MSNBC, The View can hire her.
She is insane and her radical scare tactics at anything on the right is a pure ratings grab and tiring political theatre and is highly divisive.

MSNBC used to have a left leaning bias. Now it's hard left. The hosts sometimes omit facts to make a point and they greatly exaggerate. They don’t flat out lie like Fox News, but it’s getting close enough.
I think it’s the reason FAST news channels are finding an audience. The news programming more closely resembles their main over air networks that don’t peddle outrage 24/7.

And just like that, it's over.
NBC says it will cut ties with former RNC head Ronna McDaniel after days of employee objections
