The honouree is the guy who originally started this board a very long time ago, Dale Patterson. He runs the amazing Rock Radio Scrapbook site, one of the longest running and best aircheck places on the Internet. He's been offering visitors free access to the best radio announcers in history since October 1996 and has over 1,770 entries online and counting, with updates every Sunday.

He was profiled by another honoured SOWNY member, one time CHUM uber-producer Doug Thompson, who knows a thing or two about creating great radio.
