Could A.I. Be The Next Radio Superstar Jock? Experts Say It's Coming
It's not only a possibility, but some stations are experimenting with it right now. How far could it go towards actually replacing real people? The answer for widespread use may still be a few years away, but experts are predicting it's not a matter of if - but when. And you may recall one radio giant in Canada announcing in 2023, it was already looking into the technology.
"In Canada, Rogers Sports & Media announced last year it was also "beta testing new AI voice tech" with Futuri. CBC News asked Rogers for an update on where that project currently stands, but it did not provide any further updates."
Could the next superstar radio host be an AI? Maybe not soon, but it is coming: experts
