Glen McGregor was a familiar face who worked for decades at CTV as their Parliament Hill reporter. But this month's Bell Media cuts put an end to that tenure and left him looking for freelance work. It didn't take him long to bounce back. 

Broadcast Dialogue reporters McGregor has landed a new gig with City TV in a similar role. No word on how that might affect current Ottawa reporters like Cormack MacSweeney or Xiaoli Li, who have both been covering that beat for several years. But MacSweeney appears glad to get the help.
