Went out to get the newspaper this morning, and had to go off the usual route because of construction.
I spotted a convenience store and went inside.
There was a young man behind the counter, and I asked "do you have any newspapers?"
He looked at me blankly then said, "what kind of vaper?"
I said, "no a newspaper!"
He replied, "news what?"
I said "newspaper, it's a thing you read and it tells you what is happening in the world."
"Ohh, a newspaper, No we don't have those."

I went to visit a relative in a hospital. I was really surprised that the hospital gift shop didn't sell newspapers.

I'm surprised the newspaper boxes just outside the hospital entrance(s) vanished.
It is possible that the Scarborough hospital @ McCowan & Lawrence might mean going across the street to the Shell gas station to grab a newspaper...maybe, if lucky...
