Broadcast Dialogue today reported that Gary Miles has died at age 77.

I met Gary in about 2004 when he was with Rogers, through a mutual friend.  I was a pup in the corporate game, but he always remembered my name and had time for conversation and advice whenever we saw each other.  What a great guy.  Knew the business as a radio professional and I had a tremendous amount of respect for him.
