Former Newstalk & CBC Toronto broadcaster Connie Sinclair dies
Sad news. Connie Sinclair has died of cancer.
She was the partner of Classical FM afternoon drive host Mark Wigmore.

Sinclair came by her radio bona fides honestly - she was the daughter of the late Gord Sinclair, famous for his news on CJAD in Montreal and called legendary CFRB commentator Gordon Sinclair grandpa.
Wigmore, who survives her, was also at one time a producer at CFRB.
She leaves behind two children.

Mark was indeed my producer during his time at 'RB; as we did weekend mornings together. Connie reported news on my show as well. That's when she met Mark.
When my Mother passed away in 2004, I walked into that little church in the village of Perkinsfield Ontario and Lo and Behold there was Mark and Connie. Also, producer Nick Maiorano. I was very touched.
