Toronto Mike reports that Josie Dye of Indie 88 morning drive fame is no longer an "independent." She'll be taking over CHUM-FM's afternoon shift in 2024, replacing Meredith Shaw, who left for duties at City TV's Breakfast Television.
No word on who might replace Dye on CIND, or what happens to her cohorts in crime, Carlin & Brent.
More on Toronto Mike.

I saw the job posting on Milkman Unlimited, but I assumed one of her co-hosts were leaving.

I enjoyed "Josie's Top 20" from her Edge Days, she always played some neat alternative stuff and had interesting stories.

Great. So now everybody has some CHUM in them?

Apparently once you make it to CHUM you have "made it"

markow202. I remember the day I got hired by Bob Laine at CHUM-FM; in March 1971. I really thought I had made it that day.

Good for Josie, she's an excellent human with a plethora of experience and stories to share.
