London Radio Legend Dick Williams Dies At 83

Some very sad news from the Forest City. Dick Williams had worked for almost every London radio station and was also involved with CFPL-TV. His final oldies show will be broadcast as a tribute this weekend on AM 980, both Saturday and Sunday.

Broadcast Dialogue has a look at Williams' life in radio, including his time in the U.S., and a podcast he did with them back in 2021. You can read it here

Re: London Radio Legend Dick Williams Dies At 83

I always listened to Dick during my teenage years and even won his "Pandemonium" contest once. I had the number dialed exept for the last digit and when I heard the sounder, completed the call and won!!! The prize??? A 45 rpm record (not even a hit) LOL

RIP Dick Williams (the Tall One)
