Just when you thought you'd seen everything comes something you've never quite seen before. It's called "In The Know," the name of a fictional NPR-type radio program, hosted by an animated stop motion character named Lauren Caspian, a complete moron who interviews real celebrities on his show and asks them embarrassing and idiotic questions.
From what I can tell, there are also scenes in the radio station itself, with equally bizarre animated characters. Those subjecting themselves to this audio torture include Mike Tyson, Hugh Laurie and filmmaker Ken Burns, all playing themselves in non-animated roles.
It comes from the mind of Mike Judge, famous for Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill. It's an interesting concept and the trailer actually looks pretty funny.
But the question remains: will we be able to see it here? The show is made for Peacock, the NBC streaming service that's not available in Canada. So unless someone like Crave (or even a cable channel) picks it up here, the trailer may be all we ever get to see. It starts airing in the U.S. at the end of the month.
Check it out below.

Although this is themed around radio, it does seem to be a bit like Space Ghost Coast to Coast from 30 years ago... my 2 cents....
