I have never heard of "The Dead Air Channel." Does such a thing actually exist? Otherwise, what the hell are they talking about? For an article that purports to explain something, it explains nothing.

Agreed, it's awful. But is there really such a thing as The Dead Air Channel? Or is this totally a figment of some AI-created imagination?

Look to me like it knew "TV dead-air" is a thing, incorporated some anecdotes from social media or forums like this one, and then tied it all together with a completely invented premise.
