Erik Thomas Leaving Raceline Radio & Broadcasting After 48 Yrs.
The final "Raceline Radio" hosted by Erik Thomas will happen on January 7th of the new year, after 31 years on air. Thomas told TSN 690 in Montreal he's been in broadcasting for nearly half a century and he thinks it's time to move on to other opportunities.
It's not clear if the show will continue with a new host. "That's up to the people who wear shirts and ties in big offices," Thomas relates.

I thought Tomas did a great job on Leaf broadcasts in the '80s. He wish he had done more hockey play-by-play.

Just this past summer Erik Tomas visited me and gave me 80 minutes of stories from his career in broadcasting.

You would think that TSN would know how to spell Erik's surname. It looks like everyone else here got it right but them!
