680 Sports - Always lead with the Leafs

Another reason to hate -- or laugh at -- Toronto radio.  The LEAD sports story for at least part of the day on 680 News was that the Leafs had a team meeting instead of a practice.  Are there any people outside of 680 who think this should be the top story any day?

They've done this many times before with the Blue Jays but I'm confused, you state it's the "lead sports" story and then call it the "top story". Those are two different things. On a slow sports day, then maybe, just maybe and only in Toronto, it could be the sports lead. But to have it lead "the news" is egregious to me.

I started taking them less seriously since they mandated using "the Six" instead of "Toronto" in every story.

To Bored op:  I meant to say "lead sports story" both times.
