Buffalo Radio Stns. Won't Drop Taylor Swift Songs For Bills-K.C. Game

It's happened in many football markets when the K.C. Chiefs and Travis Kelce were coming to play - a ban of Taylor Swift music on the airwaves until after the game is over. It's a publicity gimmick involving the singer and her latest boyfriend, but stations in Buffalo are having none of it.

All of the major radio station owners agree they have no intention of pulling her music from their playlists until the contest is over.

“No way,” said Bob Barnett, Director of Content at Townsquare Buffalo, which owns County 106.5 WYRK, Power 93.7 WBLK, and other popular stations.

“Biggest artist in music right now,” he added. “That would be counter-productive to building an audience.”
