Sim-Sub Now Being Used By Bell To Promote Sports Betting
What were the odds they would do this?
"The deluge of American programming we have suffered under as a result of sim-sub and now the flood of advertising for sports betting have been bad enough, but to allow TV hosts to tout bets is going too far. The CRTC should at least stop Bell from flouting the sim-sub rules by inserting bet-touting infomercials."

Hosts or personalities touting a product has been a "thing" as long as TV has existed. The sports betting is annoying, I'll agree to that.
With respect to sim-sub: It's the number one reason I only watch local TV with an antenna. I've never subscribed to Cable TV. I'll choose the channel I want to watch, thanks. I don't need it switched on me.
