Myles Goodwyn of iconic Canadian rock band April Wine has passed away
Sad news, I loved playing their music on-air and always appreciated their talent. RIP Myles Goodwyn and thank you for so many great songs and albums.

No details on the cause of death. Goodwyn was diabetic. April Wine certainly was a soundtrack on radio in the 70's and 80's. I too enjoyed playing their songs during my time on air. I remember hearing them first on radio in 1971 with the single Fast Train. More info from CBC.ca..

According to CP24 tonight, it was cancer. That dreaded Disease.

All our icons of our youth are slipping away. Well, at least in my case. RIP Myles. I will never forget the time I spent with you in Moncton, New Brunswick .
