Their names sound like a Leafs' all-time All-Star team - Darryl Sittler, Doug Gilmour, Wendel Clark, Norm Ullman and others. Not to mention Eddie Shack and Johnny Bower. But in this case, the team the Toronto Sun is referring to all starred in Canadian television commercials over the years.

Cool, looking forward to checking that out RA. Here's the new Rogers ad with a current Leaf.

I usually don’t support Rogers but they really got this one right! Taking advantage of the Nylander taking the subway story and using it to promote their 5G is very smart creative IMO. (Hope an agency didn’t come up with this!)

I was curious so did a bit of digging and alas, the spot on spot was probably the work of the Sid Lee agency.
Looks like there was a lot of fallout from the Rogers musical chairs kerfuffles.

Thanks for posting that RA
Brings back a memory or two!
Sittler did another commercial for Weetabix with his late wife Wendy. Available on YouTube.
Speaking of former wives the pretty gal dancing with Doug Gilmour in the milk commercial is his ex-wife Amy.
They are divorced.
