Pogues founder/Lead singer Shane MacGowan passes
Shane MacGowan , founder and singer/songwriter of the Irish/UK
band, The Pogues, has died after a long illness. He was 65.
The band was well known for their Christmas hit "Fairytale Of New York.
Some folks, here, mentioned the song quite recently.
Another one is gone.

A great loss, but it's a marvel that he made it to 65.
