The Celebrity Who Named Her Kid After A Radio Format

There have been some pretty weird names Hollywood-types give to their kids. Remember Apple, Gwynneth Paltrow's daughter? Penn Jillette, of Penn and Teller, has a daughter named Moxie Crimefighter. (Isn't that close to child abuse?) And Rob Morrow of "Numbers" and "Northern Exposure" fame named his little girl "Tu." Yes, Tu Morrow. Hopefully, the sun will come out for her.

Sometimes it seems like the rich and famous compete to see who can screw up their kids' lives worse by sticking them with a ridiculous moniker.

Which brings us to Kelli Giddish, who played the recently departed Det. Rollins on Law & Order SVU. (Turns out she's coming back for at least another episode this season, if this season ever actually gets here.)

She's been off on maternity leave after departing the show and having a kid. And what did they name this golden child? Would you believe "Oldie?" Yes, Oldie, like the Roger Ashby Show. Strange name for someone so young, but I guess he'll grow into it in a few decades!

I can only hope they don't have more kids. What's next? "Talk?" "Urban?" Or how about "Arthur Charles" - then they could just refer to him as AC!

Actually, AC is a real name, except I knew it to be spelled Aycee. (pronounced "A C")
I think it might be aboriginal.

RadioWiz & RadioQuiz are NOT the same person.
RadioWiz & THE Wiz are NOT the same person.

AC Slater from Saved by the Bell might be the most famous one

Long time (and still active) platter spinner Dick Williams from London named his son D.J.

Now I'm pretty sure D.J. stands for two "proper" given names on the birth certificate but Dick's offspring has been known as D.J. all his life!
