London & Windsor/Sarnia Stations Looking For New Morning Hosts

I don't know a lot about the London radio market, but some here do. So they may be interested in an ad that appeared in Broadcast Dialogue on Wednesday, advertising for a new morning host for CKLO, aka Classic Rock 98.1.

I have no idea what's happening to the current pair, Blair & Rubino, but it looks as though they could be out. Although the ad does say they're seeking someone to "join" the morning team. So are they adding an extra body or simply replacing the duo? The deadline for applications is Dec. 15th, so we'll probably know more in the new year.

Re: London & Windsor/Sarnia Stations Looking For New Morning Hosts

What's going on at the Blackburn stations? I just found another job posting, this one looking for a new morning host for its country station(s) in Windsor, CJWF and CJSP. But there's an added twist - whoever gets the gig will also be doing networked mornings on CHOK Sarnia, as the stations simulcast the show in a bid to save money.

Is that Blair and Rubino picture for real?
Two WASP Canadians making fake gang signs?
Don't tell me -- they be down with their bad selves, bruh!
Please.

For those not familiar with the Heavy Metal culture.  Ronnie James Dio brought the Sicilian hand gesture for the Devil into the genre, long before it became a symbol of gangbangers. Watch most any concert footage from his time fronting his band Dio, or with Black Sabbath.

When I was a teen way back in the other century it was the sign for bulls**t.
